My home inspector. Looking for crack. Sorry, looking for cracks.

OK, so we didn't get the last house but this one looks like we will get it. My home inspector (now close personal friend) went in and out of my house (and under) and flashed a light on everything.
Good news! The house is sound. Bad news, the fool who put drywall up in the basement was apparently an escapped mental patient. That said, nothing a real man couldn't fix on the weekends. Know one?

Glad to hear you found a great place. Always nice to know a good inspector who can give you a thorough inspection.
Agree with Scott J.
Finding a credible house inspector can be a pain, but I always tell my clients to make sure that they are certified, carries an insurance and heavily trained and professional. Better safe now, than sorry a lot later.
